“I’m so happy that the mother and daughter from Coquitlam won tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Vancouver,” says this letter writer from Ontario.

The editor,

Regarding: ‘She’ll never forget this’: How a mother and daughter went to a Coquitlam Express hockey game and ended up at a Taylor Swift concert (December 9, 2024)

I’m so happy that the mother and daughter won tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Vancouver.

I never attended any of her concerts, but had numerous friends here in Ontario who traveled to France and Sweden to see her.

Why I’m so happy that these two are winners is because they attended the concert themselves.

My friend knew people who won tickets or bought tickets they didn’t need or plan to use, so they sold their $250 tickets for between $3,000 and $5,000 each.

One person had four extra $250 tickets and sold them for $5,000 each, netting $20,000 in tax-free dollars.

Am I the only one disguised by this?

I believe it is extraordinary greed!
